Many people find it easy to say such things as ¡°I am truly sorry¡± or ¡°That¡¯s too bad!¡±, or ¡°I wish there was something I can do¡± when they see or hear of others suffering from difficulties. But, in truth, they can sympathize but many are reluctant to help others who are suffering. To a hungry person bread is far better than a million words of solace. To a person who is cold, a warm coat is much more useful than warm words. ¡°[If] one of you says to them, ¡®Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,¡¯ and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?¡± (James 2:16)
