• Wisdom in speaking and hearing
  • People misunderstand, judge, and condemn others without reason when they don't clearly discern what has been spoken and heard. When we speak, or when we hear what others have said, we must be wise in discerning it. We must also not hear from only one side, but we must always hear from both sides of an argument so that nobody will be wrongfully treated. When we are twice and three times careful before speaking, we can make fewer mistakes. Therefore, I hope you will become people of wisdom who always choose the appropriate words and avoid confusion and careless judgment due to rumors. From Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's serial column "The Way" on Hankook Ilbo
