There are many people who think they love God just because they diligently lead the life of a believer. But if they have anything that they consider to be more precious to them than God, their love cannot be said to be a true love. Suppose a person prayed earnestly and worked faithfully because he had a desire in his heart. However, his desire was not fulfilled over time and then he stopped praying and working for God. In such a case he loved himself and his desire more than God. We should try to achieve a true and sincere love for God by showing unchanging deeds.
