Forsaking His heavenly glory, 
the precious Son of God came down,
He came down to this lowly earth,

The Father sent His only Son. 
He sent Him to the earth to save mankind
that the fruit of His love be borne in us 
by the great love of God.

His name is Jesus, 
'The One who will save us'.
